#OOTD POST: CARTE BLANCHE

One of the most-awaited party here in Davao just happened. (And twas fast!) Everyone was freakin' excited! Including me of course! I mean, who wouldn't be?! First-time in Davao!

Everyone (Lol. Not really!) kept asking me what to wear on the said event. I had my ideas and I was right! People should be wearing ensembles that are worn in Music Festivals! You know, something like Coachella-ish and Wanderland-ish. Since I went to Wanderland last May, I didn't have a hard time picking clothes because I had a lot of ideas and thank goodness I got some creativity shenanigans flowing in my blood. (Well, not literally!)

One of my signature styles would be wearing "flower wreaths" but then I wore it already to Sunbaked and I had a premonition (Wait, whaaaat?! :p) that a lot of ladies out there will be sporting one above their head as if there are plants. And I was right again! A loooooooooot of flower wreaths were blooming. Making the event more like a garden! (Just kidding!).

So I wanted to be different and they say "LEAVE A MARK!" so I decided to wear a feathered headpiece (I DO NOT FEEL LIKE A CHICKEN!) to be unique. My dad always say that the "U" in "Dacalus" means unique. (I so love my dad!)

P.S I made it myself! What do ya think? ;)

Since it's a party I already expect that a lot of people be soakin' wet in alcoholic drinks, sweats, and water. (Sweats & other fluids!) So I wore my palladium boots to protect my precious toes from being stamped by other ugly toes. (Meanie me. Haha!) and I don't want to be covered since its gonna be hot and icky sweaty.

I didn't wear too much accessories because I know I will be moving around, dancing a lot, and be like wild young and free. (YOLO-ing!) I just added this huge "LOVE" necklace and my overused wrist watch to complete my look.

I already told you in my previous posts that I'm such a sucker for detailed and sexy backs. And here I am again, wearing a simple plain black midriff top but when you glance at the back it screams "peek-a-boo". Simple & Sexy!

SEMBREAK 2K13 DIARY: Crimson Sunset

When I find myself with nothing to do, I usually spent it at the pool. The water is just so tempting! You can't help but take a dip. On this particular day, the sunset is just so breathtaking! I'm such a sucker for sunsets. I mean, look at the color of the sky - a mix of orange, pink, blue, violet and crimson. What's not to love?

Sunsets, one of my favorite time of the day. (I know you love it too!)

Sunset + Pool + Friends = Fun sembreak!

Having a blast and a good laugh with my Kuya and his friends (Not on the background)

Sembreak 2013: TEA PARTY

Semester break doesn't mean all fun and exciting. There are days when you're bored to the extent of not knowing what to do. (You feel me?) What sucks more is that you're becoming a couch potato. Bed all day. House arrest sucks right?

One fine night me, my brother, and Sooni decided to go to Davao and be anywhere where the wind blows (Actually, where my hand and feet takes us because I'm their mighty driver!). Our agenda was to work on my brother's thesis as well as to eat.

YellowHauz has this perfect combination of a workplace and offers great options of food! Not to mention their ambiance too! I just love it here mainly because of their hanging lightbulbs! I'm such a sucker for anything a dash of romantic ;)

Since we all got full of what we ate (Just look at the pictures!). Me and my brother ordered some tea. Jasmine for me and Earl grey for him. Now it's time for a PARTY! A tea party to be exact! ;)

Instead of taking a shot of alcohol why not a shot of tea? A much more healthier and beneficial choice! Sooni didn't like the tea at all but me and my brother liked it since we're tea drinkers! Hot or cold.

It was refreshing to just hang out, eat, and drink tea. Not the usual party, drink, and YOLO! (You know what I mean *wink'wink*)

Shades Of Green

Sembreak is almost over (Insert me crying) and 2nd semester is fast approaching (Like a ray of light!). So I welcome enthusiastically those sleepless nights, late night readings, overload baggage under the eyes and other duties as a student. (Sarcasm at its best!)

Minggay meets school again (Sigh*) for enrollment. (Yey!) (Sarcastic over here again). Since its enrollment and I expect a lot of people lining up and its going to be boiling hot. (Courtesy to Mr.Sun) so for my #OOTD I picked light colors. White shirt and green trousers. Just light and comfy ;)

Since I'm wearing basics I accented it with leopard flats, belt, necklace, sunnies, armcandies and Minggay is good to go! (Not prepared for school though..) *Scoffs*

I didn't mean to but I just observed that my ensemble is in shades of green. Relaxing choice of color perfect for the scorching hot weather! ;)

Flower Child

"November". It's the time of the month wherein people visit their long lost loves. A day only just for them. On November 1 we paid a visit to my grandparents, both sides (Sucks that I didn't get to meet them! *Sigh.) I wonder what it feels like to have grandparents. I'd really love to hear stories of the past and how was the world different from today.

The day after tomorrow (Which is November 2. Duh! ;) Mom begged (Keep calm she didn't kneel and all!) us to go with her to Samal. At first we were hesitant because of the scorching hot weather! But then we eventually gave in. (We couldn't help Mom's face! lol)

Since the weather was boiling hot I opted to wear clothes that are comfy and at the same time cool. Forgive me for not being covered! Mr. Sun wasn't nice.

Cemetery hopping with these kind of outfit? I know! Forgive me please *insert puppy eyes*. Don't worry I brought a cover-up to minimize people staring at me! ;)

I really love piling floral pieces from one to another! It makes me feel like a plant. Yes, you heard that right a blossoming plant! (Sounds like botany! Haha). It just feels so summer-y. Sembreak is the shorter version of summer in -Ber months.
